errr, please forgive my thick headedness but um...I don't 'get' the psuedo-french bakery reference. The gate sign I can see something in my mind. 1.) Gate B is probably far away from Gate G, 2) Starbucks is noted on a gate sign, 3) having drip and restroom on the same sign may not be a good thing, 4)are they designating drip only so people don't have to walk that way just to be disppointed by not having a french press coffee? I tried to understand the french sign but my mind might be dulled by having too much drip coffee?! ah well.
Posted by: Natasha at March 9, 2006 11:11 AMboth of those signs are so freaking awesome. i love that the fakey french bistro sign looks like they brought in an asian advertising agency with vague working knowledge of english and french to piece it together.
i can only begin to comment about the gate sign....is the s'bucks mermaid officially a part of AIGA's official symbol catalog?
